Long COVID*: What Community Health Workers Need To Know

The NYU Community Health Worker Research & Resource Center invites you to a virtual webinar, Long COVID*: What Community Health Workers Need To Know on Monday, June 6th, 3:00-4:00 PM. This webinar is geared primarily towards community health workers and frontline staff working directly with community members.

We will hear from Dr. Sujata Thawani, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, about what “long COVID”* is, what we understand about it so far, resources for obtaining care, and national research currently underway to better understand and treat long-term effects of COVID. A moderated Q&A will follow with Mr. Alex Trifonov, Community Health Representative at NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center.
